College of Dentistry - Tikrit University

The College of Dentistry, was opened in 2004with 12 students and 8 faculty members, with a mission to increase supply of highly qualified dentists, provide advanced health dental -care services, today college of Dentistry is recognized as a leading source for dental care in Tikrit city and Salah Al Din Providence and a leader in research and community's services. College of Dentistry offers training annually to over 30 students and received over10 students from countries abroad. The College also offers a Bachelor degree Dentistry and Oral Surgery An extensive program of continuing education courses is available for graduate dentists. In addition to educating health professionals, College of Dentistry endeavors to improve the health of the highly diverse populations in Salah Al Din Providence. Since graduating its first medical students in 2004, the college has graduated more than 80 dentists. The College of Dentistrycampus is comprised of 6dental and 1basic science branches staffed by 41 faculty members.dent 1 The college campus, located in TikritUniversity main campus and supported with Dental Hospital. The staff members are working along with the dentists in Tikrit Dental Hospital( at Tikrit Teaching Hospital) to deliver dental care in an urban setting, performing research and educating dental students.
